HERE YE, HERE YE! We have four new tracks of the week for you to bend your ears around! We’ve mostly gone synthy and lofi this week, bringing out a much-needed, chilled atmosphere at Vinyl Chapters HQ. Bring in the weekend with some of the wonderful sounds below by giving the pics a click for a listen!
Wallners – Dracula
Four young siblings from Vienna, Wallners unleash a dreamy, distinctive and inviting sound on new single, Dracula. With deep beats and sultry vocals, the track moves onwards against bassy undertones, heavenly synths and an exciting yet ethereal atmosphere. The hints of electronica help thicken out the sound and build a track that is suave and sophisticated. Great stuff.
Elly Kace – Are You Ready?
Brooklyn-based Elly Kace chills the soul and enlightens the mind on new single Are You Ready?. Amongst pop connotations and beautifully realised layers, the track unleashes a sense of serenity and wonder that is wonderful to behold. The intermittently layered vocals cause you to sit up and take in everything that surrounds them as the lofi indie electronica sound creeps forward in a seductive way.
Rosie Tee – Anchors
Taken from her upcoming EP, Earth, Embrace Me In, Rosie Tee’s Anchors is a delightfully eclectic mix of avant-pop, psychedelic electronica and creativity that is difficult to resist. With minimal instrumentation, Tee manages to make the most of the soul-searching sounds and rhythms created with dreamy vocals holding it all together elegantly. Well worth a listen or two.
Chrisitan Leave – 10 Steps
With an atmospheric flair and lust for life, Christian Leave’s 10 Steps is a wonderfully balanced indie-pop track that drifts forward invitingly amongst settled guitars, gleeful melodies and a rising atmosphere that suddenly hits hard. It’s becoming a lost talent to make an addictive indie track, but this is just one of those that will be stuck in your head all summer long if you let it in.
